Underfoot Feel
The key thing to understand is that the Zoom Rival Multi-Event Spikes are suitable for sprint and middle distance track events, along with hurdles and jumps. In comparison to sprint spikes, there is more cushioning at the heel. However, a three-quarter spike plate provides snappy performance to help you sprint on your toes.
Upper Fit
Support is provided by an arch band which secures the midfoot for a dynamic lace-up fit. For added durability, there are overlays at the tip of the toes. No-sew overlays at the heel also add support.
The padded heel collar helps with comfort. At the forefoot, mesh layered with reinforcement results in breathability and durability.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Zoom Rival Multi Track & Field Multi-Event Spikes are for track events ranging from 100m to 1500m, including hurdles and jumps. They are particularly useful if you are doing a number of different events while you work out what you enjoy the most.
We do not recommend using these Nike spikes for anything other than their intended purpose.
Important Sizing Note:When buying unisex Nike spikes please refer to the size guides and choose your size based on the EU sizing. The conversion for UK sizes 6 and below differs slightly from road or trail running shoes.
Note that spikes are designed to be snug and secure, limiting lateral movement while providing drive onto the running surface. They are manufactured quite small in comparison to road or trail running shoes. To ensure a secure fit and optimum performance, we recommendyour spikesbeingat least a full size bigger than your regular shoe size.
